In this blog post we will discuss Fated Meeting, which is the seventh card of the Major Arcana.
The Fated Meeting card is the seventh card in the Major Arcana of the Akashic Tarot. This is actually another one of my favorite cards of the deck. The intuitive meaning of the card is as follows:
Upright Meaning:
When the Fated Meeting card comes out upright, it is a strong sign that you are about to meet someone very significant. This card depicts a couple in the Victorian age. A handsome man and woman, who both look youthful in age and are dressed up nicely, are about to meet each other for the first time or are currently meeting beneath a clocktower in a town center. Although they have not yet met in real life, above them is a dream-like image showing them as already being together - united as a couple or in love. This could show either their future selves or their souls craving for them to be together. The image depicts a vibrancy and spark when it comes to an exciting new connection entering our lives.
When this card comes out, you are either about to meet someone very significant or you have already done so. This could have been in the recent past but perhaps this card is also a reminder that you guys met for a reason, if you were asking about this person and what meaning they have to your life. While this card does typically mean love and romantical relationships, you can also use it for other situations. For example, if you were wondering about a work collaboration or networking. This card may indicate that you will meet an important person in your field or regarding your question and circumstances and that this person may help you out, advance you or offer a significant perspective on things.
Typically this card may indicate karmic relationships. Meaning you have met this person in a past life already. This could be a soulmate, Twin Flame, strong connection or something similar.
If you have not yet met this person, you are about to. Be aware of who you meet, what emotions they evoke inside of you and how they make you feel overall.
Love:
If you are looking for a new relationship or romantical partner, this card may very well indicate you are about to meet a great match or a significant person, who will play a larger role in your life in the time ahead. This could be your soulmate or whatever other label you want to put onto this connection. If you are wondering about a specific person you already know, this card shows you met for a reason and that perhaps there are still soul contracts or agreements, which you guy are in need of fulfilling or coming together for it. Or that your current relationship will be elevated to a whole new level.
Overall meaning:
The message is you met or are meeting this person for a reason. Trust in that.
Reverse Meaning:
When the Fated Meeting card comes out in reverse, this may be a sign that you have come to an end of a connection with a person you were wondering about. Perhaps right now you've worked out as much as you can with this person, but it just is not working anymore. You have evolved in different aspects and towards different worlds. Not every relationship needs to end in a marriage or life-long commitment. Some people come in as teachers or to fulfill a certain role in your life.
If you have not met anyone, this card may indicate that right now is not the perfect time to jump into a new commitment. Or that perhaps there are delays in meeting your person on the horizon. Patience is key. Everything happens in the right timing anyhow.
What exactly is the Akashic Tarot? The Akashic Tarot deck was designed by Sharon Anne Klingler and Sandra Anne Taylor. It is a 62-card deck with five different focal points: The Major Arcana and four Minor Arcanas. This tarot card deck directly connects you with your intuition and is open to interpretation by anyone willing to expand their awareness and tapping into the higher force, abundance and wisdom of your own personal inner knowing. The name also implies a connection to your own, personal Akashic Records.
